Kayaking in the Spreewald
Student Kayaking The “Venice of the North,” as it is often called, is a unique and picturesque maze of water ways hemmed in by Brandenburg forest. The best way to navigate this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve are punt or kayaking tours, leading us by beautiful small villages with block house architecture. Many people living here still grown their own vegetables (with the Spreewald cucumber as one of its most popular crops) or keep their own bees. If you get lucky, you can even buy it straight from the farmer!
